Genaker is proud to announce that, in the scope of its global activities, it has now completed the development of commercial products and services for all five major smartphone platforms, namely: Symbian®, RIM®, iPhone®, Android®, Windows Mobile®, covering an aggregated share of more than 95% of the smartphone segment.

With the recent addition of Android 2.1, and combining its product development lifecycle plus the delivery of turn-key projects with Tier-1 carriers worldwide, Genaker has extended the reach of its commercial mobile applications toward all major smartphone OS’s in areas like Location enabled services, Rich Communications, Push-to-Talk and mobile DataBase access.

Over the last 36 months, the Genaker team has overcome major technical challenges such as real-time multimedia handling, development of a highly portable SIP / IMS stack for all platforms and the combination of Telco 2.0 and Web 2.0 experiences in mobile devices to enable applications that leverage the best of the Internet and the cellular worlds.
